Brooklands lagoon

On Saturday we all met at Spencer Park, jumped in Evelin’s car with her dog and drove to Whites crossing.  We started our walk at 9.15am with the weather being a bit overcast. We mainly followed the Waimakariri river and the 360 signs which were a bit hit and miss.  The views looking back to the port hills were nice.  We encountered some escaping dogs off one property which was a bit scary. The day warmed up which was good and we got to the Adrenaline forest end by 12 Noon. Everyone went home except myself and Evelien because Adam picked us up and dropped Evelien back to her car.
