Purple Peak

A total of four trampers assembled at PMH, for today's tramp. A ninety minute drive to Akaroa, landed us at the start of the track. The day started off cold, but by ten o’clock, a few layers were peeled off.

At the Saddle we had good views over the Akaroa Harbour. A drop from the Saddle saw us at Cab stand for a small rest, before we climbed onto the start of the Curry Track.

We had lunch at the site of Captain Worsley’s old house, with good views then we walked down Rue Grehan, across Woodhill’s track, back to the car.
